Margit Terasmees, born 1973 is a disainer and ceramist, member of Estonian Ceramist Union.
Margit`s ceramic work is mainly functional as she has a product design background, her sculptural pieces touch the landscape between figural and abstract. Specialized in woodfired ceramics, Margit embraces the endless possibilities of that field to success and failure – not all the pots are winners.
2019 started the journey of her own woodfire kiln in rural Estonia with a goal of tuning and giving value to the material she is working with.
