Rikki Winde

Rikki Winde is a Swedish artist based in Bergen, Norway. He combines performance art, ceramics, and sculpture to explore themes of origin, movement, and participation. Currently, he is pursuing an MFA at the Faculty of Fine Art, Music, and Design (KMD) in Bergen and holds a bachelor’s degree from the same institution. Walking is central to his work, both literally and metaphorically. In his performance “I want to live where I am missed”, participants join him on a walk while he carries a ceramic backpack oven, baking bread which they share together. Rikki values kiln construction and firing, favoring unpredictable, dysfunctional designs that create unique and imperfect results.
